Oreo (bichon/shi tzu mix of 9 months old) is potty trained, knows limited commands and of very good In the home. Hyper reactive, high anxiety outside on walks, "stranger danger", pulls on leash all the time especially in new places. Visibly scared while on walks. At home, listens to commands well. On walks, won't listen to commands due to being scared. Have tried playing videos of outside sounds (construction noises, busy walk ways, etc) to desensitize her. Has helped a little bit. When sees our parents, high separation anxiety triggers. We know we need to train her differently but are stumped as to how. We understand her breed (shi tzu's in particular) can be tough, especially stubborn and this is our first dog. We've had her since she was 10 weeks old.
