We have two dogs, one blue heeler/ Australian cattle dog and one red heeler/Australian cattle dog mix. They are treated like our children aka sleep with us, have run if the house, on/off furniture etc. While we are gone on a trip they will need to be fed morning and night 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Let outside in the fenced backyard at those times as well as in the evening around 10 or so. They are used to company so someone to let them and spend time with them each day and to walk the older one a little bit every day would be good, too. They are friendly but the younger is shy and skittish. The older will bark but will wag his tail and be friendly once her meets you. My mom usually watches them when we are out of town but my dad is sick and she cannot do that at this time.
