Three cats - two on specialized diets. (Koka) 11 yrs. male, takes hyperthyroid pill daily and special food for early kidney disease. (Tottie) 12 yrs, female on weight management diet and anti-inflammatory meds. (Mooshi) 6 yrs female in good health, on OTC cat food. Koka is House Manager, waking us at dawn to feed cats. He returns later to show us the bowls are empty as if he fears starvation. He's the self-appointed food-forager, although the girls come on their own if truly hungry. Since new food program, he has become a serious nuisance. After waking us, I put meds in Tottie's food for her arthritis, and dish out their meals. The girls have at it immediately. Koka stands aside and won't eat his own food, but steals Mooshi's from beneath her nose. I dress his food up to no avail. He's making me nuts.
