Female cat Souls IBD seems to be under control with the special food, daily doses of fiber supplement and probiotic. Male cat Heart began having major issues with straining to urinate. He would try every few minutes and produce little to no urine. He had to be taken immediately to the local Veterinary Emergency Clinic. They diagnosed him as having a bladder stone. He was placed on pain medication for 10 days and his dry food was changed immediately. The new dry food is Urinary specific food and has normalized his urination. But, Heart still had the bladder stone. Our vet, Dr. Dodin did a follow up X-Ray yesterday and it showed the stone was still present in his bladder and may have gotten larger. Heart will have surgery this coming Tuesday morning to have the stone removed.
