We have one male great Pyrenees to females and a female standard poodle. These are all outside dogs and I have one cat inside. The outside dogs are fed free feed in bulk feeders, but I have the mail has to be monitor daily in case he gets wrapped up around something. Because he does have a tendency to leave the property.
