The cats, Lola (10 years old) and Zuko (5 years old), are very, very sweet and pretty much take care of themselves. They have a automatic feeder and the cat box only needs to be cleaned every other day. The puppy Theo (3 months), is very sweet and smart. He eats 3 times a day, but if anything you would only have to feed him once since I mostly need later care for him. He knows what "outside" and "potty" mean and will sit down for you to put his collar on if he needs to go out after you have said one of those words. He has to be taken out pretty much right after a nap, but you have about 5-10 minutes after he eats before he needs to go outside. If he's played a great deal he'll need to go outside again fairly soon after. Overall they are all very easy to take care of, the puppy just has separation anxiety and needs someone in the house.
