I have 2 rescue beagles. Zoe is completely blind. We've had her for 6 yrs, but she's only been blind for 18 mos. The other, Phoebe, has one eye(lost her other eye 2 yrs ago to glaucoma). They are approx. 9 and 12 yrs old. They need someone who can sleep at the house and just be around. You can "work from home", read, watch TV, do crafts. They don't play with toys, but like pets and a warm body nearby. Zoe is very slow and gentle. She wanders the house and yard bumping into everything. Phoebe is high energy until she's not, then she naps hard. Phoebe can appear aggressive, but she's just scared. She's an angel out at the vet or store so we think she's being protective in the house. You can win her over with treats. Feed her cause the sight in that one eye isn't great.
