We have an amazing, chill, low maintence Akita named Sheeba (7 years). she is quiet, sweet, and very loyal to her family and friends. Our biggest priority is that she is with a caregiver who understands how to walk large dogs. Sheeba is a sweetheart with people, but not good with other dogs and likes to be on leash on walks (does not pull or bark). She is sometimes pokey because she likes to take her time and sniff. She does not do well when other off leash dogs approach her space. She can go "on by" no problem. We have a larged fenced in back yard and she loves to be outside in her space. We are looking for a caregiver to go on walks with us so she can get used to them, then eventually do some house-sitting. -thank you!
