Title: House Manager & Family Assistant Location: Maple Valley, WA Employment Type: Part-time (20-25 hours/week) Compensation: $28+/hour based on experience Start Date: ASAP Requirements: Non-smoker, must pass background check, has reliable transportation, up-to-date on Flu and Tdap vaccinations Proposed Schedule: 3 full days/week (M/W/F preferred but flexible if at least two of those are covered) Description: We're a growing family living in Maple Valley. We have three children ages 3-7 and we're expecting baby #4 in July. We're looking for a patient, organized, and proactive House Manager & Family Assistant who can help us keep things running smoothly at home. We value someone who is confident working independently and enjoys building and maintaining simple systems to help a household thrive. You're detail-oriented and dependable, but also flexible, kind, and great at checking in when needed. This role is focused primarily on household tasks, but we'd love someone who can also help with kid pick-ups and light nannying support. Key Responsibilities: Household Management & Organization Manage laundry for the household (wash, fold, put away) Maintain smooth daily household operations by overseeing routine tasks such as monitoring and restocking pantry and household supplies, running and unloading the dishwasher, and managing trash and recycling. Keep living spaces tidy and organized by maintaining kitchen and common areas, and performing light bedroom upkeep-including making beds, straightening personal items, and ensuring overall cleanliness throughout the home. Create and maintain simple organization systems for toys, clothes, gear, and household items Handle errands and returns as needed Maintain running lists of household needs Meal Prep (Kid-Focused) Prep meals or snacks for the kids (think: lunchboxes, quick weeknight dinners, cleaning and preparing fresh produce) Grocery list assistance and pantry organization Transportation & Family Support Assist with occasional school pick-ups, kid drop-offs at activities (using family vehicle) Household errands using your own car (mileage reimbursed) Provide light childcare support when needed How to Apply: If this sounds like a great fit for you, please send an email to recruiting@mysagehaus.com with: A brief introduction about you and why you're interested in this role Your updated resume Contact info for 2-3 references
