About the job
I am hiring a special person to help my brother, who was recently in an accident and now relies on a walker, and has some cognitive issues. Due to his injuries he can't keep house and tends to put things down where ever he can. He is a great guy but talks a lot and doesn't always make sense, so you might need to be able to listen and chit chat while working. He is private and wants someone who can care for his place in a way that he's comfortable, which might change time to time. This job is not for someone who has a rigid cleaning approach. This job is for someone who can prioritize the most necessary things given the situation that day, and rotate cleaning standards. He only wants the public spaces (living room, kitchen, and bathroom) tidied, but he might need help with dishes or laundry or trash. Experience with special needs a plus.
