We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented housekeeper to manage the cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of a seven-floor townhome in the Upper East Side of New York City for a private family. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills and be willing to provide hands-on support in all areas of household care while working closely with other household staff. This position offers a great opportunity for a professional housekeeper to become part of a private household, where a proactive and meticulous approach is essential to maintaining the family's residence to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of general housekeeping, including deep cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, garbage disposal, bed-making, and organizing spaces.

Work collaboratively as part of a team with the Family Assistant/Nanny and other housekeepers.
Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and caring for delicate fabrics and stained clothing, especially children's garments.
Handle wardrobe management, including seasonal organization and proper storage.
Oversee organizing projects and create efficient storage solutions.
Assist with travel packing and unpacking.
Handle special requests, errands, and related duties as needed.
Be comfortable working in a household with four children in residence 50% of the time.
The workload fluctuations based on the number of children in attendance, ranging from substantial to minimal. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the energy and flexibility to handle both scenarios. Salary: $40 - $45 per hour, with additional compensation for overtime. Remuneration will be based on the candidate's skills and pertinent background. Following a 3-month probation period, healthcare reimbursement of $70/week is provided. Employees are entitled to 15 days of paid leave. Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
