Chasing Connections is seeking a dedicated and nurturing live-in housekeeper nanny for a young, growing family. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of the household and support the family as they navigate the exciting journey of parenthood. This long-term position requires enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to grow alongside the family. ### Key Responsibilities #### Childcare - Provide full-time care for the newborn, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and soothing. - Teach and guide the new parents on essential baby care practices and child development milestones. - Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for the baby as they grow. #### Household Management - Perform deep cleaning and regular maintenance of the home, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing. - Organize and manage the household, ensuring all areas are tidy and clutter-free. - Handle laundry tasks, including washing, folding, and putting away clothes for the family. #### Cooking and Meal Preparation - Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the family, accommodating dietary preferences and restrictions. - Prepare baby-friendly meals and snacks as the child grows. #### Pet Care - Attend to the family's small dog's needs, such as letting them out for potty breaks and ensuring they are fed if asked for help. - Maintain the cat litter box and provide basic care for the family's cat. #### Schedule and Availability - Initially, work night shifts for the first two weeks after the baby arrives to provide support during the adjustment period. - Transition to a full-time daytime schedule following the initial two weeks. - Remain flexible to travel with the family as needed for vacations or events, providing childcare and household support during travel. ### Qualifications - Must have 5-10 years of experience as a live-in nanny and housekeeper, particularly with newborns and young children. - Knowledge of early childhood development and childcare best practices. - Strong organizational and time-management skills. - Ability to cook a variety of nutritious meals. - Comfort with pets and a willingness to assist with pet care. - Reliable, trustworthy, and capable of multitasking in a busy household. - An understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in a family setting. ### What Chasing Connections Offers - Competitive salary commensurate with experience. - Private living accommodations within the family home. - A supportive and welcoming family environment. - Opportunities for professional development and potential growth within the role as the family expands.
