Professional Housekeeper - New Canaan

A private residence in New Canaan is seeking a professional housekeeper to assist with the daily cleaning, laundry, and household management. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working in a household and expert in keeping an orderly and efficient home. Responsibilities: Full charge housekeeping throughout the residence, including all rooms and bathrooms, with special attention to kitchen, living room and primary bedroom. Light meal prep for family. Change sheets and towels Complete laundry services Maintain tidy and organized closets throughout the residence Maintain household inventories and procure supplies as needed. Run errands, including grocery shopping. Requirements: Fluent in English both written and verbal. A minimum of 5 years of related professional experience in a private home as a housekeeper. Must be okay with being paid on the books. Ability to take direction and follow policies and rules. Excellent references required from current and previous employers. Professional, polished, and discreet. Experience with museum-quality cleaning and care for antiques, silver, and fine art. Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities. Comfortable handling fine garments and laundry. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Uniform required, will be provided by employer.
