HOUSEMAN HANDYMAN, FOR RESIDENCE IN HISTORICAL AREA IN BERKELEY, CA Our clients in Berkeley, CA are searching for a reliable, hands-on Handyman/Houseman to support the daily operations of their residence. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong understanding of household maintenance and property care. Ability to help with driving, errands, maintenance in plumbing, electrical, painting, exterior clean-up, power-washing tile. Oversight of vendors, keeping this 5k sq ft home in running condition. Skills must be above average. This is a full-time position, supervised by the Estate Manager. You must have a clean driving record and a vehicle. We are seeking candidates local to the area -within a 30-minute drive. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Report directly to the Estate Manager Full Handyman and Houseman duties Conduct daily property walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance issues, fixing them and reporting to the Estate Manager Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed, managing the budgets and making sure work is done on time Exterior care and maintenance Some driving may be required QUALIFICATIONS Proven ability to troubleshoot and fix household maintenance issues A team-player mentality with a willingness to assist in all areas of estate operations Flexible with hours to accommodate estate needs Highly organized, punctual, reliable, and work-focused Experience in household maintenance or a similar hands-on role Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle tasks proactively Ability to communicate effectively and work well with vendors and staff Local to the area within a 30-minute drive Location: Berkeley, CA Schedule: 40 hrs. per week, Monday-Friday Salary: $45hr. payroll W2, this is not a cash position Benefits: Medical possibly dental and vision, TBD
