Full-Time Family Assistant Downtown Charleston This busy family of four is searching for a full-time family assistant to perform housekeeping duties with cooking/meal prep, and errand running. The family lives in a home that is over 200 years old with two small cottages on the property, a guest house, and a pool house, they also have a garage. The combined square footage is roughly 6, 000 sq ft. The housekeeping part of this role will include general housekeeping for the home, pool house, and cottage/office. The family has antiques and delicate fabrics and carpets, this housekeeper should have experience with these types of items and maintaining them. Laundry for this family of 4 is also the responsibility of the candidate. Silver polishing will need to be completed as necessary and house-sitting would be a bonus when occasionally needed. The errand-running portion of the position will include dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up, package returns, and other general errand running to assist with the daily running of this home. The family assistant will also need to perform cooking/meal prepping for the family. This will include food shopping and some meal planning. The family has no allergies and their two children do not require any separate meal preparations. They are looking for organic, clean, healthy, protein-dense meals. They also have a garden which should be used when possible for fresh produce. Candidates who apply should be comfortable around children as this family has a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old. This family has a 6-year-old golden doodle and they would like this applicant to be comfortable around pets. The general schedule will be 9-5 on weekdays. Financial and Benefits: This position is offering $35+ per hour. Health Stipend and PTO are offered with this role.
