A busy family with a large residence in Brooklyn Heights, NY would like to hire a professional Housekeeper to join their fully staffed home. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who appreciates having Mondays and Tuesdays off! Responsibilities: Work alongside the established team assuming responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the home, including: - Care of specialty materials and surfaces - Performing a daily walkthrough - Following a cleaning schedule-- Caring for the principals' clothing and wardrobes (including some laundry, steaming, etc.). - Providing ancillary support to the Chef and Butler in their duties. - Assisting with provisioning the home, errands, and providing care for one small friendly dog. Qualifications: The right person is kind, has a great attitude, enjoys their work, and embraces the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team. Must have prior experience working as a housekeeper in a fine home for a private employer. Exceptional hands-on cleaning and laundry skills are required. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term opportunity. Schedule: The schedule for this role is: - Wednesday - Friday (Generally from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00pm). - Saturday & Sunday (Alternating between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & 12:00 p.m. - 8:00pm).
