This is a long-term/permanent position: Our client is searching for a full-time housekeeper in Brooklyn, NY. The housekeeper should also have the flexibility to travel to Montauk (live-in) during the summer months. The ideal candidate will be organized, meticulous in their work, and have a quiet demeanor. The home is very organized and has systems in place, the housekeeper should feel comfortable learning the systems and maintaining the current organization. Responsibilities: Daily cleaning of 6-bedroom town home Family laundry and clothing maintenance and storage in off season Ironing of bed linens Meal preparation (must be comfortable following recipes) Assisting with formal and casual entertaining (de-cluttering, setting out flowers, setting table, serving, etc.) Ensuring summer home in guest ready Greeting of family and guests Ordering groceries and House hold supplies Running errands Requirements: Valid Driver's license and clean driving record MUST work weekend during the summer MUST have flexibility to live-in during summer work week 5+ years of similar experience with one family Excellent verifiable references Schedule: Brooklyn During School Year: Monday - Friday 10:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Summer month in Montauk: Thursday - Sunday Salary: $40 - $45 an hour
