We have two small dogs. One is very old and minds her own business and sleeps most all day. She is also just about deaf and so is not disturbed by sounds of things like vacuums. The young dog is spunky and barks at the vacuum and will steal dusting clots if you are not careful. Both are people friendly. A dog friendly person would be preferable. I have had a hard time keeping up with cleaning and the house is messy right now. I am working on bringing it up to a better state of things but it is going slowly.
