My 65-year-old mom is a recent partial amputee (right leg below the knee) and her partner is a full time truck driver (locally). Since she is working with rehab and not very mobile, they are struggling to keep up with basic home cleaning and have been for about a year now. I would love to find someone who could come once a week to help clean up the their home and do a load of laundry for 2-3 hours. We would not expect the home to be spotless, but just make a little progress each week as we know it has been neglected for some time. The ideal person would be friendly and would not mind chatting with my mom while there as she is also lonely.
