About the job
Our basic need is cleaning because 85-year-old mom lives with my sister. And the thing we need most is good cleaning every other week. My sister and mom live in Standish area of Minneapolis. However, our ideal person would be someone who lives nearby who enjoys talking with older people (Mom is very lively and follows politics daily -- and has short term memory issues) willing to do two other things: willing to walk her dog (a tiny 12 pound lap dog) and provide some very basic tech support (she needs help 1-2 a day figuring something out on her phone or laptop). If we find that ideal candidate we would want them to come at least 3 times per week M-F for 1-2 hours and more when my sister is out of town. So if you live nearby and are interested let us know -- we are flexible.
