My mother is in the early stages of Alzheimer's but still living alone and trying to maintain as much of her independence as long as she can. That said, she does need help keeping her house clean. Duties include sweeping, mopping, general tidying, washing dishes, taking out trash, cleaning the fridge, etc. She has two cats and could use help maintaining the litter box, as well as disposing of old cat food. She could also use some help with organizing her things. All of this requires a compassionate touch because she should be consulted before things are moved around or discarded. It's also becoming increasingly difficult for her to communicate and she is sometimes agitated, but with a bit of patience and understanding, you should get along just fine.
