Family with newly renovated main residence in Glencoe, Illinois is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail oriented full-time housekeeper who will efficiently clean 10, 000 square foot semi-formal residence. Schedule is on Monday - Friday at 40 hours per week. Family is open to the schedule preferred by housekeeper (e. g., 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, etc.). Flexibility is required for very occasional evenings and/or weekends if needed by family for entertaining. The ability to work around the family's schedule while at the same time cleaning and organizing in an efficient manner is important. Applicants need to be honest, trustworthy, understand the importance of maintaining discretion (confidentiality agreement required), collaborative to work with domestic employees (full-time nanny), experienced working with principals and children that are around residence often (discreet and staying out of the way is important), adept at organizing and general cleaning, knowledgeable with cleaning various surfaces and artwork, experienced assisting with entertaining, skilled with laundry, and proficient with ironing. Candidates must be comfortable working around children and hypoallergenic small dog. Candidates with many years of private full-time housekeeper experience working in a 5, 000+ square foot or larger residence is required. Safe vehicle for transportation is required. Uniform preferred by housekeeper is required. Family is open to local candidates and domestic relocations. Start date is flexible for the right candidate.
