About the job
We are looking for a live-in housekeeper to care for us and our small dog. The work day is split: Up around 7 a.m. to feed the puppy and prepare breakfast. Clean and do laundry until about noon; then time off to rest, have lunch with a friend, shop, or enjoy the beach. Work starts again at 2 p.m. Clean up the lunch that we have prepared ourselves. Continue laundry and cleaning. Prepare and serve a snack at 5 p.m. and feed puppy. Free time until around 9:30pm, then take the dog out and put the puppy to bed. Housekeeper can live-in 5 days a week or 7 days (working 5). Housekeeper must stay with the dog on weekends when we travel (2 or 3 times a year) and be able to drive us to our vacation home in North Carolina (2 or 3 times a year) and work with us when there (usually 2 or 3 weeks).
