About the job
Our family is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented person to help with household chores on for a few hours a week, ideally Thursday. The main task is to do laundry in our home (with a focus on linens), following instructions on pre-treatment (when needed), sorting, washing, dryer and hang drying, folding, and putting away. While waiting for the laundry, you will be asked to help with cleaning and organizing tasks, such as: - Taking apart, washing, and reassembling the dish racks, Brita filter pitcher, humidifiers on a rotating basis - Ironing - Organizing the children's bedroom and playroom - Occasional deep cleaning of kitchen drawers/cabinets, car seats, refrigerator/freezer, etc.
