My 10-year-old likes to do everything except chores. My 8yr old enjoys nature and going for walks. They both like video games, just in the summer I try to keep them active instead. My 8yr old is adhd combined type, and has wild child tendencies (outdoor activities helps alleviate this). We live out of the school district by 12 mins, so I drive them to school/ summer school. I work midday-evenings, so we need school pick up and sitter until I'm home from work. Single Mom, (no co-parents), sole custody and placement for both boys.
