About the job
I am looking for someone that has worked with special needs kids. My son is 13 years old and is handicap. He has a rare genetic disorder. He cant walk, but he can crawl. He has a feeding tube which we use for emergencies when he is sick. He does well eating by mouth, but needs help being fed certain foods. He always has a water sippy. He is in diapers and would need to be changed every 2 hrs. He is partially deaf. He understands ASL but when he communicates his signs are modified because of his under developed cerebellum. He can say some words, he tries to tell you words, and many times you have to guess or sign in asking if that is what he is trying to say. He is LOUD. He love cars, monster trucks and his iPad. He is very easy to take care of. He gives tight hugs. At times he likes playing in the sand and on the trampoline.
