About the job
Looking for part time after school care for two 10yo and 13 yo boys. We have a kind and shy 13yo son with high functioning autism and a very active neurotypical 10yo who loves soccer, basketball, board games and D&D. The job includes driving the kids to their activities and appointments (practice, friends, dentist appointments, etc), playdate supervision, a little homework help, snack prep, and game play. Familiarity with autism is a must and a willingness to bond and connect with boys is sought after. I am a busy mom who works from home M-F looking to ensure her boys are learning about the world and themselves rather than passing the time with devices. Ideal times are roughly 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Reliable car a must.
