About the job
We have a special needs child who is on the autistic spectrum. He is a very high-functioning, intelligent kid who struggles with sensory sensitivity and social/emotional regulation. He is wonderful, sweet, funny, and very bright, so we want to make sure we find the right fit. He loves playing imaginary with toys, board games, reading and being silly. We are looking for a dedicated, playful, caring and understanding partner to take care of him after school from 2:30 to 5 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 12:30 to 5 on Wednesday. Other holiday breaks and summer help after camp would also be great! He gets attached like family to those that provide meaningful experiences to his life so we are hoping for someone consistent.
