About the job
We are looking for a playful and energetic nanny to spend the afternoons with our 6-year-old son who is autistic. Ideal hours would be M-F from 2:30-5:30 or 6pm, but we can be flexible for the right person. This role includes picking our son up from school each day (could be in our car or yours, with mileage reimbursement), bringing him home, and playing with him both inside and outside. You'd also take him to an OT session on the way home from school once per week. Our son is verbal, energetic and super imaginative. His favorite activities include building with Legos, and running and playing in our backyard. Ideally you bring meaningful experience working with special needs children. We can expand this into a bigger role with more hours if you're interested in helping with laundry and food prep for the whole family.
