Job Title: Household Assistant and Great Cook! Family Overview: An established and professional family is seeking a proactive and experienced Household Assistant to join their home. They have two children: a 14-year-old and an 11-year-old. This family values kindness, responsibility, and excellent communication. Their household includes one friendly golden doodle and a very elderly cat. Schedule: Days: Tuesday through Friday (with some flexibility) Hours: Tuesdays: 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. (potential for full day if desired) Wednesdays to Fridays: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. Additional hours may be available later in the evenings for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Household Support: Prepare simple, nutritious dinners and assist with meal prep (packing lunches) Manage grocery shopping and stocking Handle laundry and light housekeeping duties (kitchen cleanup, light tidying) Childcare Support: Assist with morning routines and after-school activities Coordinate transportation for the kids to and from school (bus pick-up and carpool) Provide occasional pick-up for tennis or theatre activities Additional Duties: Potential household management responsibilities (scheduling vendors, managing projects) Support the family with errands and research as needed Ideal Candidate: The family seeks a polished, accomplished, and proactive individual is experienced in household management and has a natural affinity for children. The ideal candidate will love dogs and be excited about a long-term engagement with the family. Compensation: Pay: $40/hour, with potential increases based on skills and connection with the children Benefits: Guaranteed weekly pay, generous PTO, and a health insurance stipend as part of the total compensation package. Start Date: As soon as possible, but the family is willing to wait for the perfect candidate. They envision a long-term relationship until the children go to college and beyond.
