About the job
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for our neuro-divergent 16-year-old son and occasional care for our neuro-typical tween daughter. Responsibilities include providing companionship, assisting with outings and appointments, and occasional help with household tasks like running errands and/or meal prep. Hours are flexible but generally would be in week day mid-afternoon and between 10-16 hours weekly plus the possibility of mutually agreed upon weekend hours. Experience with caregiving is necessary, and an accepting, patient nature is essential. Knowledge or interest in neuro-divergence is a huge plus as is the ability to connect with our son on a personal level (he loves aviation and video games).
