Country Village Day School is a nationally accredited non-profit early childhood program located on Mercer Island. We care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We are currently seeking FULL AND PART-TIME Teacher's Assistants and Teacher's Aides for our 2025 Summer Program. The Country Village Day School 2025 Summer Program begins for staff on June 20, 2025. A teaching role at Country Village Day School is an excellent opportunity for anyone who has a passion for early childhood education. Pay Rate: $20-$26/hour depending on position, experience and education. Country Village Day School is open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. We can be flexible in schedules offered for the right fit. Country Village Day School is an equal opportunity employer* Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon hire Role Responsibilities: Assistant Teacher: Responsible for implementing defined curriculum and contributing ideas to curriculum design Responsible for providing classroom supervision during core curriculum hours Assists with parent communication regarding classroom issues and child development Teacher's Aide: Responsible for overseeing art projects class activities, and outdoor time Responsible for interacting effectively in diverse classroom settings to provide break coverage for Lead and Assistant Teachers Provides secondary classroom supervision during core curriculum hours Responsible for limited parent communication, typically regarding classroom or logistical issues, not child development All positions require flexibility and patience in helping the school to run smoothly each day.
