I am single parent of 2 children, a 12-year-old, non-binary child & a 17-year-old transgender son. Both have experienced trauma over the past few years and require someone who is affirming and trauma-informed. My 12-year-old needs support throughout the day to engage in online school at home while I am at work M-F 8:30-5:30. My 17-year-old needs occasional support. Ideally, I would like to find someone who is available for the occasional overnight care, to allow me some single-mama respite. We have two dogs and a cat.
