WANTED: Part-time mentor for special needs individual. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. AND Thursdays 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. More hours as needed based on events. Rate: $17. 36. Individual is mobile, communicative, cheerful, creative, funny and responds favorably to structure and boundaries. Requires: Transportation to local programs 3-4x/week, max radius 30 miles; Prompting and coaching for everyday activities: simple food prep and cleanup, shopping, showering, bedtime prep, basic chores; Self-advocacy support; Monitoring for unsafe behavior and seizures, dehydration. To qualify: must be 18+ yrs of age, legal citizen, fluent in English, have 2+ yrs experience and/or training on handling Autistic behaviors. References required.
