About the job
I'm seeking a compassionate but firm individual to provide care assistance and supervision for my 8yo nonverbal, autistic child. The hours would vary depending upon need as I am a small business owner (weekend days for vendor markets, as early as 8am) and also do rideshare driving (evenings from 7/8 p.m. until as late as 2 a.m. sometimes). Primary evening responsibilities would include getting him ready for bed, assisting with bathing, dressing and his nighttime hygiene routine, and finally getting him to sleep. **The routine would be slightly different for a daytime shift** Light housekeeping may be requested as needed (washing dishes, vacuuming, laundry, etc). Please be comfortable with pets as we do have one very friendly feline! Paycheck is issued via direct deposit, every other Friday. Background check is required.
