We are seeking a compassionate and patient Respite Caregiver Provider to support a 16-year-old boy with autism who exhibits behavioral challenges. This role involves providing supervision, engaging in meaningful activities, and implementing strategies to ensure his safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviors, as well as strong communication and de-escalation skills. Provide a safe and structured environment for the teen during respite care. Assist with daily routines, life skills, and social interactions in a positive and supportive manner. Implement behavior management strategies as outlined in his care plan. Engage him in recreational and sensory-friendly activities that align with his interests. Monitor and address triggers for behavioral challenges
