About the job
I'm looking for a calm, kind sitter for my 4-year-old son, starting this spring and continuing through the summer (and possibly beyond). He's just finishing up cancer treatment and may be on the autism spectrum. He's incredibly sweet and funny once he feels safe, but he's been through a lot, and transitions can be tough. I'm looking for someone who can show up with warmth, steadiness, and patience. This could be a great fit for a student or anyone with an interest in early childhood, psychology, special education, or social work. What matters most is that you're gentle, reliable, and happy to follow a child's lead. VCU campus (Harrison & Franklin). Pay: $23/hour. Hours: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-7 p.m. Optional Saturdays if you want. Duties: Low-key play, supervision. I'm a chill and realistic parent. Some screen time is fine. Thanks!
