15 hrs per week maximum. Salary set by the State of Virginia DMAS at current minimum wage per hour. No holiday pay, overtime, benefits, insurance, or workman's compensation. The Care Attendant must assist the child in completing activities of daily living, & ensure the child's safety, comfort, & well-being. This is a physically demanding but rewarding position that requires flexibility and strong commitment to the child's overall development. Requirements: Prefer experience working with autism, disruptive mood dysreg. disorder & parasomnia Prefer certified experience in providing OT, ABA, or recreational therapies. Provide own transportation. own transportation care & attendance at medical appointments (no travel expense reimbursement).
