About the job
Our family has just moved from southern Cali to Virginia. (Reposting as we were in the middle of a move when I posted last and I realize I responded too late to many applicants) We're looking for a caring, energetic nanny for our 3. 5-year-old son and 1. 5-year-old daughter. Starting January 20 (trial day the week of January 13), the position guarantees 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (8 AM- 4 p.m. or 9AM- 5PM, this will change slightly once I start work), at $22-$26/hour DOE. Responsibilities include childcare, driving to activities (car provided or car seats for your vehicle), planning fun, creative activities like art and sensory play (supplies provided), and light tidying of toys. Our son attends speech therapy; experience with speech delays or a childhood education background is a plus. No meal prep is required.
