About the job
We have three children - 5 1/2-year-old boy, 2 1/2-year-old boy, and 3-month-old girl. Primary care would be for our two youngest since our eldest son is starting kindergarten, but he will also need care on the occasional day off, etc. Our toddler will be attending a Tuesday/Thursday morning preschool. Beyond physical safety, we care about validating our children's emotions while also setting boundaries for behavior. Nanny qualities we are looking for include good communication, dependability, loving, patience, and playfulness. Beyond attending to the kids, duties also include clean-up of children's areas and children's laundry if/when possible. We pay through a payroll service, and we follow all household employee laws. We are looking for someone to commit a set 40 hours/week (7:30 a.m. - 3:30 pm) with the possibility for overtime.
