I work for a church, so my days can be flexible. My son thrives with structure and consistency, so the flexibility in my job causes some chaos for him. We homeschool him; he's in 1st grade so its math and reading and science. His body is constantly moving and his brain is wired differently, so school requires breaks and snacks and creativity at time. My son LOVES to play. He would play all day, and being an only child, he's always looking for a playmate. His ideal day would be breakfast, play, get ready, school work, more playtime then lunch and something fun - playing outside, going for a walk, etc. My son enjoys building things and tearing them apart Legos, magnatiles, making art. He really struggles to clean up after himself, so reinforcement and strong boundaries are necessary.
