We have two children who need childcare. One is a typical 6-month-old. Very energetic and ambitious. The second is a 3-year-old with down syndrome. Her cognitive, motor and verbal skills are similar to a 12-month-old, her emotional and social skills are more typical of an older child. She has no special needs that would concern a caregiver, aside from being taught how to feed her and learning her communication (mostly sign language). She loves music, singing, dancing, playing piano or guitar. She loves dolls and imaginative play and stories. She loves to be outside.
