Hi there! My husband and I work in the public school system, and we will need childcare for our daughter when school resumes in the fall. Our daughter is almost 3 months old now, and will be around 7 months old when we will need care for her. We are a fun, energetic, and easy-to-please family, and we love those who love our sweet girl. Since we work in the school system, we would need care during school hours, but would not expect you to be present during school holidays or days off. We would love to have someone who has infant experience, particularly with baby-lead weaning, ASL, and who is CPR/First Aid certified. Bonus if you speak a second language. We understand the importance of high-quality child care, and we are happy to compensate accordingly. Please reach out if you would be interested! We would want someone who has strong decision-making skills as well as effective communication. Our daughter is still little, but as a family we prioritize wake windows and developmentally appropriate activities, such as tummy time, floor based play, and outdoor walks. We would love someone who is knowledgeable about infant and toddler development, and appropriate activities for that age group. We also would love someone who knows infant sign language or speaks a second language. We would love for our caregiver to be compassionate, loving, kind, and creative, as well as flexible with an infants ever-changing needs. Parking at our home We have two dogs, a corgi and an Australian shepherd. They will be either outside or in our basement and you will only interact with them as much or as little as you are comfortable with. We understand that each persons experience and comfortability with animals is different.
