Looking for a Medicaid attendant to provide in-home/community care in the Herndon area for a young man with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), a complex genetic condition that presents a range of behavioral and cognitive challenges, particularly around food-seeking behaviors and severe skin picking. He needs 1:1 support at all times, cannot be left alone under any circumstances i. e. going to bathroom and etc. The aid needs to make sure that he only eats the special diet food prepared by parents and not eat anything else. The aid needs to have the patience and skills to watch him at all times. In addition, the aid needs to have the skills to emotionally support him when he has outbursts, tantrums, anxiety and able to follow the behavior strategies given by his parents/therapist. Wage in non-negotiable and set at the Medicaid rate. Serious and qualified applicants only with experience working with special needs young adults, who are: 18 years or older, have a valid social security car
