About the job
Looking for a new best friend for our autistic 5-year-old to care and play with him while I work from home! Due to his developmental delays, he needs constant supervision to help keep him safe. He is nonverbal but communicates in many different ways! Care expectations include snacks/light meal prep, diaper changes/potty, monitoring his safety, light housekeeping (picking up toys as needed), and other caregiver tasks but most of all, engaging in play and being ready to give and receive lots of love and affection! Schedule is flexible and we can work around school/other commitments as we do have another caregiver helping to cover hours. You would not be expected to work everyday! Mon-Fri 3:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Sat/Sun - varies as needed
