Nanny To Teach Preschool Skills, Full Or Part-time, 19-year Old Special-needs Girl, Fairfax VA

1-2 Reliable English-speaking, Female, full or part-time Nanny/Teacher(s) needed, 9-5, Monday to Friday, in our home in Fairfax, VA, for joyous, Special Needs non-speaking 19-yr old female with toddler-aged skills who uses an AAC device (talker) for basic communication. Additional hours (evenings/weekends) possible. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required (car for appointments available). The right people are female, English-speaking, reliable, and a teacher at heart able to use a multi-disciplinary approach to weave life skills and learning into everyday tasks. Experience in early-childhood education required. Child development certificate or AAS Child dev preferred. Housing could be provided. Other TASKS: bathing, dressing, diaper changes, basic food prep and laundry, driving and attending med appointments, safekeeping.
