Are You A TEACHER At Heart? Looking For Nanny M-F 9-5 Nanny For Special-needs Child In Fairfax, VA

Reliable English-speaking, Female, Personal Attendant/Caregiver needed, 9-5, Monday to Friday, in our home in Fairfax, VA, for joyous, Special-needs non-speaking 19-yr old female with toddler-aged skills who uses an AAC device (talker) for basic communication. Additional hours (evenings/weekends) possible. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required (car for therapy appointments provided). The right person should be female, English-speaking, reliable, and a teacher at heart able to use a multi-disciplinary approach to weave life skills and learning into everyday tasks. Experience in early-childhood education and/or alternative communication is a plus. Housing could be provided for the right person. TASKS: bathing, dressing, diaper changes, basic food prep and laundry, driving and attending therapy sessions, safekeeping.
