Are You A TEACHER At Heart? Looking For Full Or Part-Time Nanny, M-F Days, Special-needs, Fairfax VA

1-2 Reliable English-speaking, Female, Personal Attendant/Caregiver(s) needed, 9-5, Monday to Friday, in our home in Fairfax, VA, for joyous, Special-needs non-speaking 19-yr old female with toddler-aged skills who uses an AAC device (talker) for basic communication. Additional hours (evenings/weekends) possible. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required (car for appointments provided). The right person should be female, English-speaking, reliable, and a teacher at heart able to use a multi-disciplinary approach to weave life skills and learning into everyday tasks. Experience in early-childhood education and/or alternative communication is a plus. Housing could be provided. TASKS: bathing, dressing, diaper changes, basic food prep and laundry, driving and attending appointments, safekeeping.
