About the job
We are looking for an occasional but consistent babysitter for our sweet 5-year-old son with additional challenges (mobility limits, developmental delays, etc.). Specifically, one morning (8am-1:00 p.m. either Sat or Sun) every weekend or every other weekend (depending on interest) and occasional evenings so we can do a date night. While he does have some additional considerations, he is engaging, social, loves to play, and his smile lights up the room. Ideally you will have experience working with children with special needs and are willing to be trained on our child's specific needs. Your role would basically be to play and go on adventures that support my son's overall development. The ideal candidate would be fully vaccinated for COVID and would be able to lift and carry 45 lbs. (as he currently needs to be transferred regularly).
