About the job
We are looking for a nanny for our 14-year-old smiley happy special needs daughter. We need someone who can commit to 4 hours a day on M-F between the hours 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flexible during those hours. Although she is non-verbal and can't use her hands, she can walk and communicates in unique ways. Tasks would include reading books, taking walks in our small neighborhood, feeding, watching shows, working on small tasks like learning non-verbal communication cards, exploring toys/games she can use. Some physical support needed for walls/transitions. No medical requirements or diapering needs. Mom will be working from home to assist and answer any questions or provide guidance. Located near GMU. Prefer a babysitter with reliable transport, has some CPR training and is a non-smoker. Hourly rate negotiable.
